Americans with Disabilities Act or ADA was signed into law in 1990 was probably one of our biggest milestones. ADA is a civil right law that prohibits discrimination based on disabilities. It also allows us to ask for accommodations- more importantly, ask and receive a sign language interpreting at our doctor appointment, legal appointments, PTA, schools, etc.

This artwork includes 5 people- Evan Kemp, Rev Harold Wilke, Pres. Bush, Sandra Parrino, Justin Dart, which shows President George H. Wh. Bush signing ADA into law on July 26, 1990.
