George Veditz was one of our leaders and activist back in 1900s and a former National Association of the Deaf President. He also joined group to raise funds to buy video recording equipment as a way to preserve sign language in response to Milan of 1880, which declared an international ban on sign language thanks to Alexander G. Bell. This artwork celebrates Veditz along with his famous quote and his actual signature.
